Christopher Hillman is a personal injury attorney with a background uniquely suited to fighting for injured clients. Born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana, Christopher earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Louisiana at Monroe before going on to earn his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, and is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
Christopher began his legal career as staff counsel for GEICO, where he gained hands-on experience in insurance defense litigation and developed a deep understanding of how insurers evaluate claims, build their defenses, and approach settlement. He brought that insider knowledge to the plaintiff’s side, where he has spent his career representing seriously injured people in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, trucking and commercial vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, premises liability, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries. That defense-side foundation gives him a strategic edge many attorneys simply don’t have. His results reflect it: a $475,000 medical malpractice settlement, a $228,000 city bus accident settlement, and a $150,000 workplace tort claim settlement, among others.
Outside the courtroom, Christopher is a devoted husband and father who places faith, family, and community at the center of his life. He is actively involved in church ministry and finds purpose in giving back, including through mentorship and business counseling for small business owners through local support organizations. One of the things he values most about his career is that it allows him to be present for his family and create lasting memories alongside the people he loves most.
