Nation's fastest-growing personal injury law firm brings national resources to Charlotte, with local leadership from a seasoned North Carolina-raised trial attorney

[CHARLOTTE, NC] — TopDog Law, the nation’s fastest-growing personal injury law firm, today announced the appointment of North Carolinian Thomas Ozbolt as Managing Attorney to lead the firm's North Carolina operations.

A North Carolina native who grew up in Alamance County, Ozbolt joins TopDog Law from a Charlotte plaintiff personal injury firm, where he most recently served as a senior attorney. He has practiced law since 2012 and has tried more than 40 cases before a jury.

In 2023 alone, North Carolina recorded over 308,000 reported traffic crashes, resulting in 1,685 fatalities and 5,480 severe injuries, according to the state's Highway Safety Improvement Program. The Charlotte office will handle catastrophic injury, traumatic brain injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and motor vehicle collision cases across the state’s 100 counties.

Ozbolt began his career in Massachusetts as a prosecutor before moving to criminal defense work, giving him trial experience from both sides of the courtroom. Ozbolt is licensed in North Carolina and Massachusetts and remains an active member of both bars. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University and earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta.
