He is a native Spanish speaker, having spent his childhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He also speaks proficient Italian and French, having studied languages in Europe.

He has been married to his wife Lindsay for over 21 years. They have six children, ages ranging from 4 to 20.

He likes to spend his free time coaching youth sports, such as volleyball and soccer.
